An electrical position feedback is optional. All 0142 valves come with a with manual override for commissioning and testing. The 3/2-way pilot valve can be easily converted from normally closed to normally open functioning principle by rotating it 180 degrees on the main seat. The valve opens and closes by moving a flexible membrane. The separation of the medium with the valve's working parts makes it a good solution for aggressive or slightly contaminated media. The default options for sealing materials are EPDM and FKM. PVDF is available on request and suitable for higher temperatures than PVC. Since this is an indirect-operating valve, a minimum differential pressure of 0.5 bar is required for the valve to function.

The Bürkert 0142 valve is an indirect-operating valve with a port diameter from DN 15 up to DN 50 with true union glued sleeves.

This model is media separated and can therefore be used for slightly contaminated and aggressive media. However, the function can easily be changed between NC and NO by rotating the pilot valve on the top side by 180 degrees.

The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. The valve has a PVC housing with FKM sealing and an orifice size of 20 mm. Bürkert indirect operating 2/2-way solenoid valve with 25 mm glued sleeves and 12V DC (direct current) coil.
